Andreas Freutsmiedl has more than 25 years of sector experience in the markets process industry, energy and infrastructure. Throughout this period he has been responsible for business units ranging from start-ups to international divisions with numerous companies and a P&L of 200 million euros.
Andreas Freutsmiedl established Inotectis GmbH in 2017.
As CEO of the Voith Division Energy-Petro-Chemicals from 2014 to 2017, he realigned the division, ensured it was fit for the future and successfully steered the turnaround. At the same time Andreas Freutsmiedl headed the divestment process relating to his companies.
After studying process technology at the Technical University of Munich, Andreas Freutsmiedl worked at what was then Hoechst (later Clariant) from 1993 to 1998 in a variety of managerial positions in engineering, production and in-house consulting. As a director he was responsible for infrastructure management and technical services at an AkzoNobel site from 1999 to 2004, before later heading the largest business unit at ThyssenKrupp Xervon in his capacity as regional manager from 2004 to 2006. Andreas Freutsmiedl was subsequently responsible for strategy and business development as general manager at Dalkia (Veolia Energy) between 2006 and 2008. As managing director, from 2009 to 2014 he headed various companies in the Bilfinger Industrial Services Group, thereby achieving sustainable success.
